This article has as main target the definition of agrotourism’s contribution to income of
agricultural household. As study area selected the mountainous Korinthia and that because in
decade of 2000 was presented significant touristic development and the number of lodgings
continuously grows up.
As better method for collection of elements-data, was selected the collection through
suitable formative queries, which were completed during local interview from the writer with
the entrepreneur of every lodging separately. For the analysis of investigation’s results was
following the trial of codification for their perfect and trust worthy analysis while it was using
the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 12). For presentation of investigation’s
results has chosen the method of diagrammatic and descriptive presentation of them.
This article is distinguished in three parts where the first part presents the touristic
phenomenon of alternative tourism, agrotourism and basic meanings, the second part presents
the touristic development of mountainous Korinthia and the third part presents the results of
this search which they define the agrotourism’s contribution to income of agricultural
household.
Concretely, in the first pert is presenting firstly the historic evolution of tourism, the gentle
forms of tourism and the alternative tourism, the kind of alternative tourism and the tourism
special interests or special forms of tourism. Moreover, it grows up the meaning of
agrotourism and its developed role, are presenting the characteristics of agrotourist and what it
is or isn’t agrotourism for agricultural family, outdoor and traveler. Furthermore, are
presenting the services of agrotouristic packet, the functional forms of agrotouristic enterprises
in hellenic area and the meaning of theirs certification while they are developing the meanings
of local agreement of quality and quality’s sigh of agrotourism and this part is completing with
the presentation of Communal Initiative of LEADER.
In the second part is presenting the physiognomy of prefecture Korinthias and especially
mountainous Korinthia, its developed abilities and natural-touristic resources, its historical and
religious monuments (e.x.Mountain of Zeiria, lakes of Stimfalia-Doxa, Saint George
Monastery, Ermi’s Cave, Athletic Centre of Zeiria). This part is completing with the
presentation of touristic lodgings per municipality and municipal district of mountainous
Korinthia.
Final, in the third and final part of this study are presenting the search’s results. The
queries that were used for the selection of data comprised closed and opened type of questions
through centralized various information. The search’s results which are presenting in the third
part imprint the entrepreneur of agrotourism’s profile (sex, age, family situation, formative
level, occupation, place of permanent home), information about enterprise (year of
establishment, legal farm, kind of enterprise about its suitable services, enrollment in programs
of financial reinforcement agricultural investments, offer of employment from entrepreneur’s
family, salaried staff), the profile of customer-tourists and theirs views for the agrotouristic
enterprise (age, advance, family situation, interests, complaint). Furthermore, it is realizing
analyzed presentation of data which they are connected with lodgings (kind of lodging,
number of rooms, beds, lodging’s function, periods of point, middle term of spending the
night, number of customer, suitable services, building data), with quality of hospitality in the
enterprise (tourists’ welcome, communication, enterprise’s projection, enterprises’ connection)
and with enterprises’ finances (lodgings without agricultural exploitation-with agricultural
exploitation-with main occupation the agriculture). Final, this part is completing with
presentation of future plans of enterprise and the finances of agricultural exploitation ending in
final results which define the agrotourism’s contribution to income of agricultural household in
mountainous Korinthia |
