Μελέτη για τις προοπτικές ήπιας τουριστικής ανάπτυξης του Δήμου Τροιζηνίας - Μεθάνων και προτάσεις μάρκετινγκ

Abstract

Ο σύγχρονος τρόπος ζωής, σε συνδυασμό με τους αυξημένους ρυθμούς της καθημερινότητας, ειδικά στα αστικά κέντρα, ωθεί ολοένα και περισσότερα άτομα στο να στραφούν σε προορισμούς που δίνουν τη δυνατότητα επαφής με το φυσικό περιβάλλον, χαλάρωσης και αποφόρτισης, με τη μετακίνηση κατά την παραμονή σε αυτόν να πραγματοποιείται σε αργούς ρυθμούς. Τα παραπάνω συνοψίζονται στον όρο «ήπιος τουρισμός», ο οποίος τα τελευταία χρόνια γνωρίζει αξιόλογη ανάπτυξη παγκοσμίως, ενώ στην Ελλάδα άρχισε να γίνεται γνωστός μετά το πέρας της πανδημίας COVID-19. Για τον Δήμο Τροιζηνίας-Μεθάνων, ο τουρισμός ανέκαθεν απέφερε πόρους που ενίσχυαν την τοπική οικονομία, όμως τα τελευταία χρόνια η επισκεψιμότητα εμφάνιζε στασιμότητα. Στόχος της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη των προοπτικών ανάπτυξης του ήπιου τουρισμού στον Δήμο, με στόχο την ενίσχυση της τοπικής οικονομίας και κατ’ επέκταση τη διατήρηση του πληθυσμιακού ιστού των περιοχών του. Για τις ανάγκες της μελέτης διενεργήθηκε δευτερογενής έρευνα, η οποία καθόρισε και τις ανάγκες της πρωτογενούς έρευνας που ακολούθησε. Καταληκτικά, τα συμπεράσματα που πηγάζουν από τις παραπάνω έρευνες οδήγησαν στην κατάρτιση προτάσεων marketing για την ανάπτυξη του ήπιου τουρισμού για το σύνολο του Δήμου και την κάθε περιοχή του ξεχωριστά.

The modern way of life, combined with the increased pace of everyday life, especially at the urban areas and city centers, have led more and more people to search for destinations that give the opportunity to get into contact with the natural environment and to relax, moving on slow pace during their stay at that destination. All the facts menthioned above are summarized in the term "slow tourism", which in recent years has experienced remarkable growth worldwide, even though in Greece it started to gain popularity after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. Regarding the Municipality of Troizinia-Methana, tourism has always brought in economic resources that strengthened the local economy, but in recent years the visit rate has shown stagnation. The aim of this study is to examine the prospects of slow tourism development in the Municipality, aspiring to the strengthening of the local economy and, thus, to the preservation of the population of its areas. For the needs of the study, secondary research was conducted, which also determined the needs of the primary research that followed. Finally, the conclusions derived from the above research led to the creation of marketing proposals for the development of slow tourism for the entire Municipality and each of its regions separately.
